What are cookies?

Which cookies do we use?
This website only uses functional cookies: cookies that are needed for the website to work. We do not use advertising cookies or cookies that track you. Functional cookies do not require consent, but we do let you know that we use them.
wdw_age_ok – remembers that you confirmed you are 18 or older, so we don't ask again on every page. Kept until you close your browser.
wijndomein-waes-session – technical session cookie needed for the website and its forms to work securely. Kept until 2 hours after your last visit.
XSRF-TOKEN – protects the forms against misuse. Kept until 2 hours after your last visit.
consentBannerWdw (browser storage) – remembers that you have seen the cookie notice, so it doesn't keep coming back. Kept until you clear your browser data.
All these cookies are set by our own website and are not shared with others.
Statistics without cookies
To understand how the website is used, we work with Fathom Analytics. Fathom does not set cookies and does not collect personal data: we only see totals, such as the number of visitors per page.
Content from other services
The website's fonts come from Google Fonts and Adobe Fonts, and the map of places to buy and enjoy our wines uses map images from OpenStreetMap. To show them, your browser connects to their servers, which then see your IP address. You can read more about this in our privacy policy.
We link to Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn with plain links. These platforms only set cookies when you visit their websites.
If this changes
If we later add services that do require consent, such as detailed statistics or embedded videos, we will first ask for your permission through the cookie notice and update this page. You will then be able to change your choice at any time through the link at the bottom of the website.
Managing or deleting cookies
You can always view, block or delete cookies in your browser settings (for example Chrome, Safari, Firefox or Edge). If you block functional cookies, the website may not work as well: we will then ask for your age on every page and forms cannot be sent.
