The estate
The vineyards of Wijndomein Waes are spread across the Scheldt valley, set in the distinctive river landscape that gives this region its unique character. The vinification cellar is compact yet thoughtfully laid out, with equipment that allows us to combine tradition and precision – think temperature-controlled tanks and automated punch-downs. A guided tour of the estate tells a story from soil to glass, with an artistic dimension.
What can you expect?
We take you for a stroll among the vines and tell you what happens in the vineyard over the course of the year. In the vinification cellar you discover how the wine is made, before moving on to the barrel cellar. The visit ends with a guided tasting of three or five wines. In short: a complete wine experience.
Practical information
Guided tours can be booked on request for groups of 10 people or more. Private visits for groups of fewer than 10 people are also possible, charged at the flat rate for 10 people. A guided tour with a tasting of three wines costs €25 per person; with five wines, it costs €35 per person.
